Invitation to networking event

After the success of the ISSBA Meet the Members evening earlier this year, the Ipswich and Suffolk Small Business Association has decided to hold another one, and it is open to non-members.  This time we are at the spectacular (and wonderfully named) “Aquarium” at the Eastern Enterprise Hub (EEH), on the Ipswich Waterfront. The cost is just £5pp including VAT.

Part of University Campus Suffolk, this is the home of a “dynamic enterprise hub in the heart of Suffolk, bringing together business leaders and budding entrepreneurs” where the School for Social Entrepreneurs and the Peter Jones Academy are based. Their Chief Executive Officer, Celia Hodson, who was on the panel at the Suffolk Business Exhibition Debate, has kindly agreed that the EEH will sponsor this event, providing the venue, coffee, tea and biscuits. Celia will also say a few words about the work they do, before informal networking begins.

We have invited the students at the Eastern Enterprise Hub to join us for the evening.

The Aquarium itself is a “glass box” room on top of the six storey building with wonderful views of the River Orwell, University Campus and the Waterfront area. Car parking is available immediately alongside the EEH and costs 50p hour.
